The universe as my guide

Twice in my life I have experienced that utter perfection of the universe totally supporting me in exactly where to go.  This is how you know you are on the right path!! 

The first was moving to Kenya, and now getting married to a wonderful man, moving to a magical city and making our family grow. I am grateful every moment for the bounty I have before me. The most amazing part is how the universe answers to every twist and turn with a a whispering 'yesssss....keep going. I'm right behind you' Or at least that's what it feels like! I am thankful every morning when i awake. Happy (and tired haha) when my head hits the pillow. And thankful through my day. I think the only thing that will make more happiness in my life is when we hold our new baby in our arms. 

This new great path of mine is such perfection for me and it is the perfect time in my life. I am so fortunate for how the universe ALWAYS guides you, gently yet with intention. 

Thank you universe! You are my biggest supporter! 

Look beyond

Something I secretly (and maybe not so secretly) like to do is see things that aren't really there.  I know what you are thinking....what, like spirits and leprechaun's?!? ....No silly!  But it might be more along the lines of seeing the Virgin Mary in your bag or potato chips!

I let my imagination roll when it comes to random patterns in a bathroom wall tile where I can see a teddy bear playing the saxophone. Or one time in Mexico my mom and laid on the front of a fishing yatch for hours seeing castles and happy faces! (Disclaimer: no drugs involved)  

What I love is that this artist, http://www.christophniemann.com/ does the same thing!!

He has fun and let's his imagination entertain him. The creativity we have in our smallest molecule of our brains is something to be continually thankful for and to always be happily entertained by! 

So the next time you are like "wow! That loaf of bread looks like a lobster at just this angle" just go with it! Maybe the other nearby loafs will look like sponge bob and friends and they might all be playing instruments- you my friend get to have a chuckle and you have just created something no one else could!

Where do we go now?

For a long time I've wondered with less and less space and more people's bodies occupying it, where in the world do you go in the end? I've liked the idea of cremation and being scattered over the beaches of my childhood and the East Coast of Kenya (where I live today). Leave it Italian artists and designers As now I see this as a beautiful solution. I would love to feed a tree that feeds an ecosystem. Maybe I would like to be a hardwood tree in a tropical forest. One that will grow for a very long time with strength and height to touch the sky. I will support the homes of birds, bugs and maybe even snakes. Little nice and rodents might find a good cave there. I will help grow food and release oxygen. I will even help passers by enjoy beauty which is what I do today as a designer. This all sounds aligned to who I am and if possible, this is what I will certainly consider much later in life!

But for today and many many more...the sun is shining, there is beautiful cloud art in the sky, and I get to see all the greens a tree can offer! Thank you for this day

is what you are doing today getting you what you want tomorrow?

That moment when you realize, you have clearly heard the Universe and you answered it.  I am not sure how the feeling is explained, but it is one of pure calmness and contentment, as you are reassured of making the right decision.  

When even things you weren't expecting fall into your grateful lap, you know you are in the right place at the right time.
The only thing you know or can express is gratitude. And surprisingly enough, that is what I find as the only thing that the Universe wants in return.  As well, I have found in my life, time and time again, the more gratitude you send out the more beauty appears before your eyes!

I have decided after almost 3 years to stay in Kenya for a while longer.  I have switched companies and will now be focusing my abilities on what business I actually want to do tomorrow.  I eventually will be a consultant for any Restauranteurs or Hoteliers in developing new or expanding existing brands.  Helping them to define themselves, position themselves and align their look to their product. 

This allows me to have a consultancy later on in life, programing my life how I see fit. What is great about this, is that it allows me to do what is really important to me - what I really want most in life - to have a family and to spend time with my future children and husband. This in unequivocally the most important part of life and something that makes you the luckiest person on earth!

So!....I finally realized that indeed, what I AM doing today IS getting me what I want tomorrow!  I am lucky and beyond fortunate for such opportunities!
